HOLLIE JO HEPLER
The mom to be...aka Intended Parent (IP)
Hollie Jo currently serves as the Discipleship Pastor at Grace City Church in Lakeland, Florida. Hollie was born and raised in the Seattle, Washington area until she moved to Lakeland to come on staff at Southeastern University. She was a pastor in Miami for two years at Trinity Church and joined the team at Grace City Church August 2017. Hollie has a passion to see people experience the love of Jesus, and find calling and community through the local church. Hollie loves spending time with her husband, Joe and their two dogs, Bruno and Bastian. She enjoys taking fitness classes, laughing with friends, and watching the latest dramatic TV series.
JARRELL JOSEPH HEPLER
The dad to be, Intended Parent (IP)
Joe currently works on staff at Southeastern University in the School of Unrestricted Education. He was born and raised in Plantation, Florida. He moved to Lakeland, FL to attend Southeastern, where he met Hollie. They were married in March of 2014, shortly after he graduated. Joe went on staff at SEU, then pastored at Trinity Church in Miami Gardens, FL. Joe loves spending time with HJ and playing with their dogs, Bruno and Bastian. He enjoys watching sports, movies and TV shows, listening to podcasts, and reading.
The Gestational Carrier (GC)
PJ (Joe’s sister) grew up in Plantation, Florida and currently lives in Gainesville, FL with her husband, Clay, and daughters, Lynnlee (2) and Audree (1). She has a Bachelors in Health Science from the University of Florida and recently graduated from nursing school at Santa Fe College. She will be working as an ER nurse at North Florida Regional Medical Center. PJ believes Jesus has given her a heart for encouraging & serving people in their time of need, health & safety education, and all things motherhood (pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum health, and enjoying parenting). She enjoys family time, being outdoors, researching a wide variety of topics, and capturing memories of her girls on camera.
The Husband of the GC
Clay was born and raised in Destin, FL and moved to Gainesville to go to the University of Florida in 2009. He and his wife, PJ, have been married since December 2013 and have two daughters, Lynnlee and Audree. He has been teaching ESE (special education) high schoolers for three years and referees basketball and football on the side. Clay is passionate about athletics, mentoring young people to fulfill God’s calling on their life, and going on adventures. He loves his girls, the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.
